Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman in the United States, Texas area, to construct and repair transmission systems. You may travel to out-of-state locations as needed and report to the Foreman. This role emphasizes safety while working with energized and de-energized lines.

The position requires climbing, heavy lifting, operating and maintaining line equipment, and working outdoors in varying weather. Outages, storms, and on-call rotations are expected.

Qualifications

• Three years of transmission line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 pounds.
• Work at multiple job locations, including out-of-state locations.
• Work outside normal hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de-energized transmission systems while prioritizing safety.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Understand switching, tagging procedures, EPZ grounding, and induced voltage on de-energized lines with proper tools.
