Job summary

MasTec Utility Services is seeking a Transmission Lineman A to assist Journeyman Linemen and Foremen in constructing and maintaining transmission poles, lines, and equipment. The role supports the Lineman team and collaborates with department personnel.

Responsibilities include line construction, maintenance, and safety-aware operations. Extensive travel (Georgia/Florida) and long hours are expected in a field environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of grounding, dead-ending and proper sagging of wire.
• Ability to climb wood/steel poles and towers.
• Willingness to travel extensively to Georgia and Florida.

Responsibilities

• Transmission structure replacements and wire pulling for new line builds.
• Perform construction, maintenance, or repair of transmission lines.
• Install and maintain wood poles and steel towers of various heights; set, frame and install hardware.
