Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to apply expertise in conductors, hardware, insulation, structures, and foundations for voltage levels from 69kV to 765kV. The role includes modeling in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE, conductor studies, and equipment specifications.

The position supports a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and two remote days, plus a relocation package for eligible candidates. Bilingual Spanish/English is required.

Formación

• Requires ABET-accredited engineering degree.
• Related engineering, internship or co-op experience required.
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE; MS Office skills and bilingual ability preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design transmission lines in the 69kV to 765kV range.
• Perform structural analysis and design of pole, lattice, framed, and guyed structures.
• Perform foundation designs.
• Conductor selection studies, shielding, grounding and induction studies.
• Develop cost estimates and schedules and prepare specs for procurement.
• Specify transmission line components.
• Model transmission lines in PLS-CADD, calculate sag, determine ROW requirements.
• Review vendor submittals.
