Job summary

Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. in Lexington, KY seeks a Foreman to plan and supervise all crew work for electrical construction and maintenance projects.

The role focuses on coordinating energized and de-energized tasks, ensuring safe operations, and maintaining equipment and tools on site. Qualified candidates will have transmission and distribution experience and a valid Class A CDL with medical card, plus the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Transmission & Distribution experience preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL and medical card required.
• Proficiency with electrical distribution systems preferred.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise all work assigned to the crew.
• Supervise energized and de-energized work.
• Supervise the work of all crew members.
• Maintain the proper care of assigned Company equipment and tools.
• Assume the responsibility for the crew.
• Observe and assist with enforcement of Company safety rules.
• Perform other duties as directed or required.

Job description

For over seven decades investor-owned utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, and others have entrusted their electrical construction and maintenance needs to Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot).

Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.

The primary responsibility of the Foreman is to plan and supervise all work assigned to the crew.

• Supervise and plan all energized & de-energized work assigned to the crew.
• Supervise the work of all crew members.
• Maintain the proper care of assigned Company equipment and tools.
• Assume the responsibility for the crew.
• Observe & assist with enforcement of Company safety rules.
• Perform other duties as directed or required.
