Job summary

Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot) is seeking a Foreman to plan and supervise all crew work in electrical construction and maintenance projects.

The role focuses on overhead and underground distribution, transmission, and related services. The ideal candidate will have a CDL Class A with medical card, and experience in transmission and distribution systems. • Transmission & Distribution experience preferred
• Valid Class A CDL and medical card required
• Proficiency with electrical distribution systems preferred

• Supervise energized & de-energized work
• Supervise the work of all crew members
• Maintain the proper care of assigned company equipment and tools
• Assume responsibility for the crew
• Enforce company safety rules
• Perform other duties as directed or required

Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Foreman is to plan and supervise all work assigned to the crew.

• Supervise and plan all energized & de-energized work assigned to the crew.
• Supervise the work of all crew members.
• Maintain the proper care of assigned Company equipment and tools.
• Assume the responsibility for the crew.
• Observe & assist with enforcement of Company safety rules.
• Perform other duties as directed or required.

Qualifications

• Transmission & Distribution experience preferred
• Valid Class A CDL and medical card required
• Proficiency with electrical distribution systems preferred

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
