Job summary

Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot) seeks a Foreman for Traffic Signal and Roadway Lighting to safely guide crews and ensure timely completion of projects. You will plan, supervise, and train crew members while maintaining equipment and enforcing safety standards on site.

The ideal candidate has experience in traffic signals, roadway lighting, and related signage, with CDL A and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading and understanding plans for traffic signals, roadway lighting, and roadway signs.
• 5+ Years of experience prefered, not required
• Proficiency with ODOT systems and standards for Traffic Signals, Roadway Lighting, and Signs.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Class A CDL
• Willing to travel

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work is performed in the safest manner possible.
• Plan and supervise all work assigned to the crew.
• Coach and train crew members in the proper methods of performing the work.
• Maintain the proper care of assigned Elliot equipment and tools.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Foreman is to ensure safe and successful completion of all work assigned to the crew. Specifically, the Foreman for Traffic Signal and Lighting must:

• Ensure all work is performed in the safest manner possible.
• Plan and supervise all work assigned to the crew.

• Maintain the proper care of assigned Elliot equipment and tools.
