Qualifications

• Candidate is a student pursuing a four-year degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• Sophomore status or higher is preferred.
• Experience with design software such as PLS-CADD or SolidWorks and Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design high voltage transmission line facilities in support of AES Ohio driven system improvements, reliability projects and system load growth.
• Participate in field visits to verify topography, obstacles and meet with construction crews to address engineering concerns and solicit design feedback.
• Update discrepancies between prints/schematics, databases and system models.
