Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 3+ years of transmission line engineering experience.
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD required.
• Experience with transmission line design and construction documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer high-voltage transmission lines (69kV-500kV) using PLS-CADD.
• Prepare construction packages, including plan and profile drawings.
• Provide technical and field support during construction activities.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute transmission engineering projects.
• Apply sound engineering judgment in evaluating and adapting engineering methods and procedures.
• Develop practical solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Support project studies, technical reports, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer high-voltage transmission lines (69kV-500kV) using PLS-CADD.
• Prepare construction packages, including:
• Plan and profile drawings.
• Structure loading trees.
• Foundation drawings.
• Assembly drawings.
• Perform detailed engineering analyses to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency.
• Provide technical and field support during construction activities.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute transmission engineering projects.
• Apply sound engineering judgment in evaluating and adapting engineering methods and procedures.
• Develop practical solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Support project studies, technical reports, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

Experience

• 3+ years of transmission line engineering experience.
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD required.
• Experience with transmission line design and construction documentation preferred.

Compensation

Engineer II

• 3 to 6 years of experience.
• Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000.

Engineer III

• 6 to 13 years of experience.
• Salary Range: $115,000 - $150,000.
