Job summary

Campos EPC, LLC seeks an experienced Transmission Engineer to join our team in a hybrid role based in Tampa, FL. You will contribute to the engineering, design, and analysis of high‑voltage transmission lines (69–500 kV) and help develop comprehensive project packages using PLS-CADD.

The responsibilities include preparing construction documents, plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation/assembly drawings, performing reliability analyses, and providing field support

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering from ABET accredited program.
• 2-7 years of Transmission Engineering experience.
• PLS CADD experience required.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Transmission Engineer to join our team. As a Transmission Engineer at Campos EPC, your role is pivotal in the engineering, design, and analysis of transmission lines, as well as the development of comprehensive project packages. Join us and be a driving force behind the advancement of transmission line engineering. This is a hybrid role and we are open to hire at any of our CEPC locations; the role will require an in-office presence three days a week (2 days remote).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the engineering and design of high voltage (69-500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD.
• Prepare construction documents including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation and assembly drawings.
• Conducting detailed analysis to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
• Provide field support during construction.
• Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
• Performs work which involves conventional engineering practices, but may involve a variety of complex features.
• May coordinate departmental and divisional project studies and report preparation assignments.
• Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered.
• Adhere to codes and standards while delivering innovative solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements (min)

• B.S. in Engineering from ABET accredited program

Experience

• 2-7 years of experience required within Transmission Engineering.
• PLS CADD required.

Engineer I: 2-4 years experience: Salary: $75K- $90K

Engineer II: 4-7 years experience: Salary: $85K-$120K
