Responsibilities

• Engineer and design high voltage transmission lines (69-500kV) using PLS-CADD.
• Prepare construction documents: plan & profile drawings, structure loading trees, foundations and assemblies.
• Conduct detailed analyses to ensure reliability and efficiency of systems.
• Provide field support during construction.
• Coordinate studies and report preparation as needed.
• Develop innovative solutions while adhering to codes and standards.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Transmission Engineer to join our team. As a Transmission Engineer at Campos EPC, your role is pivotal in the engineering, design, and analysis of transmission lines, as well as the development of comprehensive project packages. This is a hybrid role and we are open to hire at any of our CEPC locations; the role will require an in-office presence three days a week (2 days remote).

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the engineering and design of high voltage (69-500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD.
• Prepare construction documents including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation and assembly drawings.
• Conducting detailed analysis to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
• Provide field support during construction.
• Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
• Performs work which involves conventional engineering practices, but may involve a variety of complex features.
• May coordinate departmental and divisional project studies and report preparation assignments.
• Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered.
• Adhere to codes and standards while delivering innovative solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements (min)

• B.S. in Engineering from ABET accredited program.

Experience

• 2-7 years of experience required within Transmission Engineering.
• PLS CADD required.
