Job summary

NorthStar Energy Solutions in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a driven Technical Trainer to join our Training team. You will deliver hands-on field and classroom instruction for apprentice and journey-level lineworkers, uphold training standards, and mentor trainees to grow in their craft.

This role requires traveling to company job sites, updating curricula, assessing trainee performance, and collaborating with safety and leadership to improve programs.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Lineman license or certification required.
• Bilingual English-Spanish strongly preferred.
• Training experience with craftworkers or safety audiences preferred.
• Ability to travel to support training at company sites and relocate if required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and classroom training for apprentice and journey-level lineworkers.
• Prepare, update, and maintain training materials and curricula.
• Identify training gaps and recommend innovative approaches to enhance learning.
• Evaluate trainee performance against program objectives and provide feedback to leadership.
• Maintain current knowledge of training programs and industry best practices.
