This Civil Engineering Intern (Transmission) position is full-time in Saint Louis, MO, in a hybrid setting as part of the Summer Internship Program. The 12-week program starts May 17, 2027, with flexible start dates and mentorship through WSP’s Developing

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program with graduation date Aug 2027 or later.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engineering audiences.
• Ability to take direction from mentors and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic drafting/engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical and professional skills.
• Learn basic civil engineering principles and assist with field work.
• Assist with project research, preliminary design calculations and analysis.
• Support preparation of final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete training on assigned tasks and adhere to safety policies.
