This full-time role involves unloading liquid products from railcars into storage systems, using pumps, hoses, and valves, while following strict safety procedures and environmental requirements.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable performing hands-on work outdoors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools and equipment.
• Physical ability to perform demanding outdoor work and lift/carry materials.

Responsibilities

• Verify tank car numbers against loading and unloading instructions.
• Connect grounding cables to discharge static electricity safely.
• Open/close manway covers; inspect tank cars for cleanliness and damage.
• Connect hoses and valves to unload liquid chemicals and petroleum products.
• Operate pumps and valves to transfer materials into storage tanks.
• Monitor gauges and meters; record readings as required.
• Inspect valves, gaskets, and safety components; replace as needed.
