Job summary

Iron Oak Energy is seeking a Transloader at the Mingo Junction terminal to load and unload sand from trucks, silos, and railcars, while maintaining quality control and accurate data entry. The role supports operations with attention to safety and efficiency.

Starting hourly rate is $21.00/hr. The position requires 1–3 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently with basic math skills. Benefits include healthcare and retirement offerings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load/unload sand to/from trucks, silos, and rail cars.
• Perform data entry into computer systems.
• Conduct tests for quality control and ensure sand meets customer specs.
• Print and close bills of lading.
• Obtain samples as required by procedures.
• Inform management of issues meeting daily customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and ensure proper equipment use.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed.

Iron Oak Energy is seeking a Transloader who will have a positive impact on the Operations team at it's Mingo Junction terminal location. As a Transloader, you will be responsible for loading and unloading of sand to and from trucks, silos, and railcars.

Starting Hourly Rate: $21.00/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading/Unloading sand to/from trucks, silos, and rail cars
• Ability to perform data entry into computer system
• Performs necessary tests for quality control purposes and ensures that sand conforms to customer requirements
• Prints and closes bills of lading
• Obtains samples as required
• Informs management of any problems with meeting daily customer requirements
• Maintains clean and safe work area
• Assures material is loaded in proper equipment, silo, dump truck, rails cars and other specialized equipment
• Routine maintenance on portable and permanent equipment

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in loading or manufacturing
• Locomotive and/or rail conductor experience is a plus
• Maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of mathematics and the ability to measure accurately
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other data entry systems
• Ability to work independently
• Must be able to wear a respirator and other required personal protective equipment
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
