Cando Rail & Terminals is North America’s leading provider of specialized rail operating services and terminal infrastructure. Transload Operators load/unload rail cars safely in a team-driven environment, adhering to safety rules and customer schedules.

Role emphasizes equipment inspection, reporting issues, and coordinating product transfers. Weekend availability may be required, with a standard 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. schedule and growth opportunities within a safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Experience operating locomotives or switch locomotives.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong safety awareness and stop-work authority when necessary.
• Ability to read and understand safety briefings and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Ensure safe operation of transloading equipment and follow rules and procedures.
• Make all connections for each product transfer.
• Perform daily inspection and testing of equipment and safety devices.
• Report safety and equipment problems promptly.
• Comply with operating rules, switching procedures, and regulations.
• Complete daily reports and logs as required.
• Provide support to switching teams as needed.
• Engage with customers to deliver on schedule and uphold company image.
• Participate in training and company initiatives.
