Job summary

Twin Eagle is seeking a Terminal Supervisor to oversee daily transloading operations, ensuring safe unloading of railcars and loading of trucks. You will enforce SOPs, manage crew direction, and make real-time decisions on efficiency, labor, and equipment usage to meet targets.

The role requires 1–3 years in terminal/rail/transloading, supervisory experience, and strong protective PPE discipline. Excellent communication and MS Office skills are essential; outdoor shifts, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in terminal, rail, or transloading operations
• 1-3 years supervisory or crew lead experience
• Experience in liquid hazmat or bulk material handling preferred
• Strong understanding of transloading processes and equipment
• Ability to make sound operational decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to work day shift, night shift, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Must wear appropriate PPE including FR uniforms, respirator, hard hat, steel toe boots, and safety glasses
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Oversee all transloading operations during the assigned shift, ensuring safe and efficient unloading of railcars and loading of trucks
• Monitor and enforce adherence to established transloading processes and standard operating procedures
• Make real-time decisions regarding efficiency, labor allocation, and equipment use to meet production targets and minimize delays
• Evaluate pull rates and determine the number of equipment and resources needed to manage truck and rail traffic effectively
• Identify and address operational bottlenecks or inefficiencies
• Coordinate with the Transload Crew Lead to ensure crew assignments and break schedules are properly managed
• Any other duties as assigned by the Assistant Terminal Manager or Terminal Manager
• Verify that all required equipment inspections, railcar inspections, daily logs, and operational paperwork are completed accurately and on schedule
• Ensure proper PPE is worn by all personnel at all times
• Ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained throughout the transloading area
• Assist with incident reporting and investigations related to transloading operations
