Job summary

Twin Eagle Terminals & Logistics is seeking a Terminal Supervisor to oversee daily transloading operations within the facility. You will report between Terminal Manager and Transload Crew, guiding safe, efficient unloading and loading activities and ensuring all inspections and paperwork are completed on time.

The role emphasizes rapid decision-making on labor, equipment use, and production targets, maintaining a strong safety culture and clear communication with management and crew.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in terminal, rail, or transloading operations.
• 1-3 years supervisory or crew lead experience.
• Experience in liquid hazmat or bulk material handling preferred.
• Strong understanding of transloading processes and equipment.
• Must be willing to workday shift, night shift, weekends or holidays as needed.
• Must wear FR uniforms, respirator, hard hat, steel toe boots, and safety glasses.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all transloading operations during the shift, ensuring safe and efficient unloading of railcars and loading of trucks.
• Enforce adherence to established transloading processes and standard operating procedures.
• Make real-time decisions regarding efficiency, labor allocation, and equipment use to meet production targets and minimize delays.
• Evaluate pull rates and determine resources needed to manage truck and rail traffic.
• Identify and address operational bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with Transload Crew to ensure crew assignments and break schedules are properly managed.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Terminal Manager.
• Verify that all required equipment inspections, railcar inspections, daily logs, and paperwork are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Ensure proper PPE is worn by all personnel at all times.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout the transloading area.
• Assist with incident reporting and investigations related to transloading operations.
