Job summary

Watco Transloading, LLC is seeking an Operator to safely operate a variety of heavy equipment, supporting daily transloading and site operations. You will work independently and with teams in outdoor environments to ensure smooth site performance.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to procedures, with training provided on equipment and safety practices. The schedule features a 10-hour day shift (4 on, 4 off) and a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience operating equipment preferred.
• Competency in the equipment type to be operated after evaluations.
• Familiarity with various cargo types and safety hazards.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely to support transloading and site operations.
• Transfer bulk materials and cargo between trucks, railcars, vessels, barges, and storage areas.
• Inspect equipment before and after use and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Participate in daily safety and job briefings, focusing on safety and teamwork.
• Follow instructions to complete tasks efficiently and meet schedules.
• Work outdoors in varying conditions, keeping area clean and organized.
