Job summary

Watco Transloading, LLC is seeking an Operator in Chicago Heights, IL to safely operate heavy equipment, support transloading, and coordinate with the team outdoors. The role involves loading/unloading, inspections, and strict adherence to safety procedures.

You will work collaboratively to keep operations on schedule. The position requires 2–3 years of equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass evaluations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating equipment is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with various cargo types and safety hazards.
• Must pass classroom and field evaluations and provide valid license.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely to support daily transloading and site operations.
• Load trucks and unload railcars and other modes as required.
• Inspect equipment before and after use and report safety concerns.
• Participate in daily safety briefings and maintain organized work areas.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to meet schedules.
