Job summary

Watco Transloading, LLC in Hawesville, KY is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support transload activities at the Hawesville Marine Terminal. You will operate loaders, skid steers, and forklifts, perform inspections, and maintain safety while handling aluminum and bulk materials.

Shift: Mon-Fri 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, with overtime and weekends as needed. The role starts at $21.00 per hour with on-the-job training, opportunities for growth, and access to Watco University development programs.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) if required by location.
• Class A commercial driver's license or willingness and ability to obtain.
• Training or certifications in heavy equipment operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy rail-related machinery safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and keep accurate inspection records.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulatory standards at all times.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
