Position: Bilingual STEM Expert (Egyptian and English)

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $24.5–$45.5/hour (based on experience)

Location: Remote

Duration: 2–6 months (with extension potential)

Commitment: 15–20 hrs/week (flexible, part-time to near full-time)

Role Responsibilities

Review and evaluate AI-generated STEM content (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) in both Egyptian and English for technical accuracy, logical flow, and clarity.
Identify and correct translation errors, scientific inaccuracies, and ambiguities.
Validate that Egyptian and English translations preserve scientific meaning, terminology, and logic.
Provide structured feedback to refine AI outputs on problem-solving, explanations, and reasoning processes.
Assist in developing and refining evaluation rubrics for bilingual STEM content.
Collaborate asynchronously with AI research teams to enhance language consistency and scientific rigor across outputs.

Requirements / Ideal Qualifications

Master’s degree or PhD in a STEM discipline (Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Technology, or related fields).
Fluency in both Egyptian and English (spoken and written).
Strong professional or academic experience in STEM or related domains.
Background in bilingual instruction, technical translation, curriculum development, or STEM content creation is highly desirable.
Strong analytical ability to break down complex technical concepts and provide actionable feedback.
Prior experience with annotation, AI content review, or educational material evaluation is a plus.
Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported).
