Job summary

Legend Biotech in Somerset, NJ seeks an Associate Director, Translational Science to bridge early discovery and clinical development. You will design translational strategies, identify biomarkers, and leverage multi-omic datasets to provide insights into MoA, patient stratification, and resistance across autoimmune and oncology indications.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD/PhD in immunology or related field required.
• 5+ years in biopharma translational research or equivalent.
• Experience with autoimmune and oncology disease biology.
• Proven biomarker development and clinical assay implementation experience.
• Strong data integration across multi-omic datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead translational strategy from lead optimization through Phase II trials.
• Oversee high-dimensional data analysis to identify pharmacodynamic markers.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development to implement biomarker assays.
• Manage CROs and academic collaborations for assay development.
• Represent Translational Science on program teams and contribute to publications.
