Qualifications

• PhD in Biochemistry or Molecular Biology or related field preferred with 0–2 years experience, or MS with 3–4 years relevant experience.
• Experience with NGS and/or ddPCR is a plus.
• Strong understanding of genomics and molecular biology required.
• Excellent troubleshooting and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced research environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform automated nucleic acid extraction and library preparation for single-cell sequencing and RNA-Seq.
• Run ddPCR, 10X Spatial Transcriptomics, NanoString DSP on clinical and non-clinical samples.
• Document procedures and results, update core manager on status via core platform.
• Train users on instruments and oversee core activities.
