Job summary

Highmark Health’s Allegheny Health Network seeks a Research Fellow for a full-time, temporary appointment up to five years to conduct translational research programs under a principal investigator. The fellow will design and execute research plans, collect and analyze data, document findings, and contribute to publications and grant proposals.

The role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage research staff as needed, and participate in conferences and meetings

Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS Degree.
• HIPAA and Privacy Policies compliance required.
• Ability to work with principal investigators and research staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high fidelity experimentation in line with the objectives of the research program. (40%)
• Collect and analyze data from the literature and ongoing experimentation to support hypotheses. (25%)
• Participate in writing research publications, presentations, and grant proposals. (20%)
• Aid the investigator in managing research staff and maintaining research facilities on an as-needed basis. (10%)
• Other duties as assigned, including representing the lead investigator at scientific conferences and meetings. (5%)
