Job summary

Abbott Neuromodulation seeks a Senior Research Scientist to lead translational neuroscience research focused on the neural and biological mechanisms underlying neuromodulation therapies. • PhD or equivalent with extensive neuroscience/engineering research.
• Experience leading complex neuroscience research programs.
• Strong ability to communicate across scientific, engineering, clinical and executive teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute translational neuroscience studies to understand neuromodulation mechanisms.
• Develop and apply electrophysiology, biomarker, behavioral, and molecular approaches.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with biology, clinical, regulatory, engineering and data science teams.
• Publish scientific findings and contribute to external collaborations and presentations.
