Tr1X, Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking a Research Associate II in Translational Medicine to support assay development and clinical sample analysis for ongoing trials. This role involves hands-on work with human blood and tissue, with supervision from Translational scientists.

You will perform flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, and related assays, maintain ELN documentation, and help draft SOPs. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced startup are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in immunology, cell biology, or related field.
• 2+ years in assay development or immunology with translational focus.
• Experience with flow cytometry-based assays and cell cultures.
• Proficiency with data analysis software (FlowJo, Prism).

Responsibilities

• Process human blood and tissue samples per SOPs.
• Perform weekly flow cytometry runs and data acquisition.
• Conduct MSD/ELISA and molecular assays as needed.
• Maintain cell cultures and handle sample management.
• Document results in ELN and prepare summaries.
• Support assay development and troubleshooting.
