Tulynode Therapeutics Inc. in San Diego is seeking a motivated Research Associate / Senior Research Associate to join the Discovery & Cell Therapy team and contribute to the development of next-generation TIL therapies.

This hands-on position will focus on developing and optimizing TIL manufacturing workflows, executing CRISPR-based gene editing screens, and characterizing primary human immune cells using live-cell imaging platforms (Incucyte) and flow cytometry to support translational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant laboratory experience. Level/title commensurate with experience.
• Proficiency in aseptic mammalian cell culture, including primary cells or immune cell lines.
• Multicolor flow cytometry experience: sample prep, staining, acquisition, analysis.
• Molecular biology techniques including PCR and genomic DNA isolation.
• Experience with cell-based assays and quantitative data analysis.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple experiments.
• Ability to troubleshoot experiments and maintain detailed documentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• TIL culture, expansion, and characterization to optimize workflows.
• CRISPR-based gene editing and electroporation of primary T cells; screen guide RNAs & assess editing.
• Molecular biology workflows including DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, validation assays.
• Flow cytometry for phenotyping and functional assays; cytokine profiling and cytotoxicity assays.
• ELN data management; analyze datasets with FlowJo and GraphPad Prism; present findings cross-functionally.
