Qualifications

• Master's or PhD candidate in a related scientific field relevant to genomics.
• Experience analyzing genomic/NGS data and familiarity with FASTQ, BAM/CRAM, VCF, FASTA formats.
• Programming in Python or R; comfortable in Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills for a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with pharmacogenomics concepts and cloud/high-performance computing preferred.
• Must be enrolled in an academic program and returning after the internship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret genomic and pharmacogenomic datasets using bioinformatics approaches.
• Evaluate data from array-based, short-read, and long-read sequencing technologies.
• Develop workflows to support genomic characterization and translational research goals.
• Collaborate with scientists to generate biological insights for precision medicine.
• Communicate results via presentations, reports and reproducible docs.
