• Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Strong PC skills using a range of software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe.
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Previous patient-facing experience or lab-based research experience is preferred.
• Availability to work up to twenty-five hours per week is required.
• Work hours will vary and require onsite presence 8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
• Ability to safely transport samples within the Penn campus is required.

Responsibilities

• Screen, recruit, and consent research participants to biobank protocols.
• Conduct research visits in the Penn Neuroscience Center at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine.
• Complete weekly chart review and abstract clinical data from EMR into study databases.
• Maintain study records, including documentation within the EMR and study logs/files.
