Job summary

Moderna seeks a Senior Scientist, Therapeutics & Translational Bioinformatics to advance mRNA therapies through computational analysis of clinical and preclinical data. You will lead integrative analyses across omics data, apply ML/AI to identify biomarkers, and translate findings into actionable strategies for program teams.

The role requires leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and mentoring of junior scientists in a fast-paced research environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative field with postdoc/industry experience.
• Strong computational biology and immunology foundation.
• Experience applying analyses to human and preclinical data.
• Experience with multi-omics and immune profiling.

Responsibilities

• Lead computational strategy for therapeutic programs from discovery through early clinical development.
• Perform integrated multi-omics analyses on human clinical data and models.
• Conduct bulk and single-cell transcriptomics analyses and TCR/BCR repertoire analysis.
• Develop ML/DL approaches for biomarker discovery and patient stratification.
• Communicate findings via reports and presentations; mentor junior scientists.

Education
