Job summary

Moderna in Cambridge, MA seeks a Research Associate to advance mRNA-based oncology programs. You will perform in vitro/in vivo experiments, characterize expression and activity of therapeutic proteins, and contribute to biomarker analysis under a fast-paced, collaborative team.

The role emphasizes bench work, data quality, and reproducibility, with opportunities to impact IND-enabling studies and translational research within Immuno-Oncology.

Qualifications

• Experience with cell transfection and long-term immune cell cultures.
• Familiar with multi-color flow cytometry and co-culture assays.
• Knowledge of MSD/ELISA, qPCR or ddPCR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use immuno-oncology models to characterize mRNA product activity in vitro/in vivo.
• Perform immune cell isolation, culture, and functional assays.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain organized data logs.
• Analyze and summarize data for presentations and publications.
• Support in vivo and translational experiments as needed.
