Job summary

YouVersion, a ministry of Life.Church, seeks a Systems Support Specialist to oversee end-to-end translation processes, coordinate with teams, volunteers, and contractors, and improve translation tools and documentation. The role supports ministry initiatives and Life.Church’s mission to reach people for Christ.

YouVersion focuses on translating and localizing content, maintaining systems, and ensuring timely project delivery while collaborating across departments and with volunteer leaders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related work experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to learn new technologies and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Review translation requests, prep assignments for volunteers, and determine deadlines and resources for internal clients.
• Plan and implement communications, events, and tests to grow volunteer capacity.
• Become an expert in the translation management system and share tips with volunteers.
• Maintain the translation request system and improve tools and processes to meet translation needs.
