Signature-Healthcare-Brockton Hospital seeks an experienced physician leader to serve as the Residency Program Director for the ACGME-accredited Transitional Year Residency Program at Signature-Healthcare-Brockton Hospital in Brockton, MA. Qualifications

MD or DO with board certification in their specialty.
Minimum of 3 years of educational and/or administrative experience in graduate medical education.
Involvement in ACGME-accredited residency training programs.
Eligibility for an unrestricted medical license in the state of Massachusetts.
Knowledge of ACGME Common Program Requirements and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

Program Administration: Ensure compliance with all ACGME requirements and oversee curriculum, evaluation systems and learning environment.
Recruitment & Selection: Lead recruitment for residents via ERAS and NRMP, implement fair selection processes.
Teaching & Mentorship: Provide direct teaching, mentorship, and evaluation of residents; lead morning report and didactic lectures.
Accreditation & Compliance: Prepare for ACGME site visits; maintain program documentation and ADS updates.
Collaboration: Work with the sponsoring institution BIDMC and other program directors on educational initiatives.
Resident Evaluation & Feedback: Oversee evaluations and milestones; address resident concerns and remediation when needed.
