Qualifikationen

• MD or DO degree with active, unrestricted medical license.
• 3–5 years of experience in medical education leadership or academic administration.
• Familiarity with ACCME accreditation standards and CME program management.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.

Aufgaben

• Educational Program Oversight: Plan, develop, and implement educational activities for clinical staff, including Grand Rounds and Schwartz Rounds.
• Accreditation Compliance: Ensure compliance with ACCME guidelines to maintain the hospital’s CME accreditation and oversee documentation and reporting.
• Transitional Year Residency: Serve as APD for the Transitional Year Residency and support the Program Director administratively, including lectures and recruitment.
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with department chairs and residency program directors to align educational efforts across the institution and participate in education-related committees.
• External Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsoring institutions regarding visiting resident rotators and educational agreements, negotiate rotation schedules and supervise student rotations.
• Leadership & Administration: Manage the medical education office, budgets, staff, and resources; promote continuous learning and chair CME committees.
