Job summary
Sahuarita Unified School District is seeking a Transition Specialist at Sahuarita High School to guide IEPs, coordinate transition services, and support students with disabilities as they prepare for postsecondary opportunities. You will work with teachers, parents, and community partners.

Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification.
- Masters degree in transition services or related field.
- SEI certification or training.
- Five years experience with students with disabilities and transition services.
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Card.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers and service providers to support transition services.
- Identify seniors and coordinate postsecondary planning and referrals.
- Identify and refer students to adult and community agencies.
- Attend IEP meetings and support teams with transition recommendations.
- Create and implement district-wide professional development for staff on transition planning.
