Osseo Education Center is seeking a qualified teacher to serve as a Long-Term Substitute in the Transition Program for 18- to 22-year-old students preparing for post-secondary life. The role involves writing and implementing IEP goals, maintaining records, and collaborating with guardians and staff.

The position is a 1.0 FTE temporary assignment from 9/8/2026 to 10/19/2026 with potential extension. Immediate start date and district leadership involvement are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• MN teaching license in Special Education-Teacher Coordinator Work Based Learning; multiple licenses preferred, OR a valid MN teaching license in another field and willing to obtain an Out of Field Permission.
• If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement goals and objectives under the IEP for each scholar.
• Maintain required records and communicate with guardians/caregivers.
• Provide in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous instruction and manage classroom activities.
