Job summary

Qualifications

• Must pass Pharmacy math and spelling test with at least 80%.
• Basic knowledge of different drug types and medical terminology.
• Understand public assistance programs and third party payors.
• Demonstrate strong communication and patient-centered care.
• Proficient with PCs and basic medical software.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with medication needs across transitions of care (inpatient, discharge, clinic, take-home).
• Interview and begin applications for medication assistance and government programs.
• Process and track prior authorization requests and document activity in EMR.
• Coordinate with pharmacists, nurses, and care managers to ensure timely medication access.
