Job summary

State Street Investment Management (SSIM) seeks a Vice President of Engineering to own the Transition Management and Trading technology platform, driving end-to-end delivery with high availability and resilience. You will partner with business leaders and global teams to modernize the platform and reduce operational risk.

You will lead a global engineering and analytics group, setting a roadmap, overseeing risk controls, and enabling efficient TM workflows across asset classes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in front-office technology and trading platforms.
• Proven leadership in mission-critical platform engineering and operations.
• Strong understanding of trading workflows and execution processes.
• Experience driving platform reliability and scalability.
• Expertise in cloud platforms, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end TM platform ownership and strategy.
• Deliver and enhance TM capabilities across asset classes.
• Drive automation and modernization of TM workflows.
• Lead a global engineering and analytics team with accountability.
• Manage KPIs and stakeholder reporting to CIO/COO.
