Job summary

Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Transition Liaison to serve as the primary Service Experience partner for Financial Professionals during onboarding, guiding offices through transition and building strong relationships.

You will own inquiries and service cases, coordinate across teams, monitor milestones, provide clear guidance, and help colleagues navigate Cambridge systems until handoff to the long-term service team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in financial services, operations, service delivery, onboarding, relationship management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary Service Experience contact for transitioning Financial Professionals, office staff, enterprise partners, and internal teams.
• Own transition-related inquiries and service cases from intake through resolution, providing clear updates and timely escalation when needed.
• Complete and coordinate operational and service tasks, including researching requests, reviewing documentation, tracking work, resolving exceptions, and confirming completion.
• Partner across Transition, Operations, Compliance, Service Experience, technology, and other teams to remove obstacles and keep onboarding activities moving.
• Monitor transition milestones, open items, service commitments, workload, and emerging risks; proactively communicate status and next steps.
• Help Financial Professionals and staff navigate Cambridge systems, processes, service channels, and resources with clear guidance.
• Build trusted relationships through regular check-ins and understanding of offices’ priorities and service expectations.
• Identify recurring operational issues and customer effort; recommend improvements for future transitions.
• Support a coordinated handoff to the long-term service team, ensuring outstanding items and relationships are understood.
• Maintain accurate transition records and reporting for visibility to stakeholders.
