Job summary

MV Boise Transit Corporation is seeking a Fueler/Cleaner to perform custodial duties around the facility and detail the interiors and exteriors of transit vehicles. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and requires compliance with safety procedures and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in light-duty vehicle service or janitorial work.
• Valid Class B CDL with airbrake and passenger endorsements required.
• Must pass annual physical examination.
• Must pass a drug test as requested.
• Subject to criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Fuel and check lubricant/fluid levels in transit and light vehicles daily.
• Wash buses, vans and other vehicles in a bus washer daily or as scheduled.
• Perform deep cleaning of vehicles as needed.
• Probe and pull fare boxes.
• Start buses and perform readiness inspections during shifts.
• Assist mechanics when needed and drive vehicles to designated locations.
