The Staffing People, Inc. is seeking a transit van driver to transport passengers safely on scheduled routes in Georgia. The role requires daily pre-trip inspections, adherence to DOT guidelines, and courteous, respectful service to riders.

Responsibilities include operating the van on time, picking up dispatched passengers, maintaining records, performing post-trip checks, fueling and cleaning the vehicle, reporting issues to the supervisor, and completing maintenance requests as needed.

• Provide safe and efficient transportation for passengers.
• Operate the van on scheduled times, following a pre-determined route.
• Pick up passengers on dispatched request for transportation.
• Operate the van on scheduled activities.
• Conduct a pre-trip and post-trip inspection of the vehicle each day.
• Check for vehicle damages, monitor oil change requirements, etc.
• Report any issues with the vehicle to the supervisor.
• Complete maintenance requests.
• Fuel van at the end of each shift and throughout the day as necessary.
• Clean the inside of the van at the end of each daily operation.
• Behave in a courteous and respectful manner.
• Treat others with respect.
• Maintain all necessary records.
• Follow all established safety policies and procedures.
• Follow all DOT guidelines and rules of the road.
• All other duties as assigned.
