Job summary

WeGo Transit in Nashville, TN is seeking a Training Specialist to develop and deliver employee training programs. You will conduct operator training, prepare staff for CDL tests, and lead a variety of training formats in classroom and virtual settings.

The role requires CDL A/B with endorsements, defensive driving certification, training experience, and the ability to work with diverse teams. Applicants must meet physical requirements and adapt to a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CDL B/P license with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Defensive Driving Instructor Certification or ability to obtain.
• PASS Certification Training or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience and training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts training of operators and trains employees on safe operation of WeGo vehicles.
• Prepares employees for CDL tests and trains on equipment operation.
• Leads classroom and computer-based training sessions.
• Conducts sensitivity and customer relations training.
• Maintains training records and conducts driver assessments.
• Assists in development and evaluation of training materials.
