Job summary

Network Rail Consulting (NRC) is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for our Seattle location to support Sound Transit’s LINK Light Rail project and other Western US clients. You will join our Seattle-based project team, applying procurement, inventory, and logistics expertise to improve asset availability and tune supply chain processes in collaboration with clients.

Qualifications

  • Relevant supply chain experience across procurement, inventory control and logistics.
  • Experience with ERP/EAM systems to optimize the supply chain.
  • Experience cleansing Item Master data in large catalogs (>100,000 SKUs).
  • Proven track record improving supply chain performance in an MRO environment.
  • Experience reducing stock-outs and improving parts forecasting.
  • Use data to identify improvement opportunities and benchmark against peers.
  • Experience improving storeroom and logistics programs with reduced inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Assess current transit supply chains to identify gaps and opportunities to increase part availability.
  • Identify ways to increase competition and diversify suppliers for sole-sourced parts.
  • Identify ways to increase inventory accuracy.
  • Automate creation of Order Points and Order Quantities.
  • Lead the development of Bills of Material and parts kits to improve wrench time.
  • Develop training programs for stakeholders involved in the supply chain.
  • Articulate supply chain vision and build a coalition for change.
  • Develop Process Maps and Value Stream Maps to illustrate current state and future value.
  • Publish recommendations and reports for clients on supply chain improvements.
  • Design and implement dashboards to track supply chain trends and actions.
