Job summary

MTS Rail is seeking a Serviceperson to perform maintenance, repair, cleaning and landscaping at rail stations, parking lots, and yards. The role includes shifts that may be mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays, with overtime as needed to support operations.

Essential duties cover attending briefings, traveling to sites, performing cleaning and graffiti removal, operating forklifts if trained, and basic landscape tasks.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid California driver's license.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply MTS policies and regulations.
• Ability to write letters, memoranda and reports in clear English.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily briefings for assignments and instructions.
• Travel to assigned stations, parking lots, and yards.
• Clean stations, buildings and yards; perform debris removal and housekeeping.
• Operate forklifts if trained and qualified.
• Landscape stations and perform basic maintenance on irrigation systems.
