Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Security Management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years security-related experience in Fare Enforcement, Property Protection, and Vandalism.
• Minimum 2 years managerial/supervisory experience in security field operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans to protect NYC Transit properties and employees against terrorism, theft, vandalism and other crimes.
• Manage Special Inspectors, Fare Enforcement Agents and Supervisors across five boroughs.
• Oversee daily fare enforcement operations on NYC Transit buses and deploy personnel strategically.
• Respond to security incidents and communicate updates to executive management.
• Evaluate employee performance, conduct field observations, investigate complaints, and prepare reports.
• Manage security at special events and escalate issues as needed.
• Adhere to all policies, standards, and non-work hour obligations as applicable.
