Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Transit & Rail Business Developer/Project Manager to grow market share in the US Northeast, with a focus on New England and the greater Boston area. The role leads project teams in planning, design, and delivery of T&R projects, while actively pursuing work opportunities and strengthening client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; postgraduate degree preferred.
• MA Licensed Professional Engineer in Civil or Structural Engineering; Massachusetts license preferred.
• Minimum of seven years of progressive engineering and project management experience on transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify, track, and pursue leads; coordinate opportunities with business development managers.
• Lead proposal process, including fee and schedule negotiations; support technical components.
• Collaborate with rail/transit planning and PMCM teams to define win themes for pursuits.
• Coordinate with partners to expand market share and maintain industry presence.
