Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalency; must be enrolled in college/university pursuing a relevant degree.
• The intern's major must align with the academic and functional requirements of the position.
• Must have completed freshman year and be entering sophomore year.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
• If internship extends over multiple summers, favorable prior summer performance is required.

Responsibilities

• Compiles, reviews, and analyzes data; prepares reports using a personal computer.
• Researches data for and assists in preparing management, operations, technical and administrative reports.
• Produces work products such as presentations, reports, correspondence, and project plans.
• Reviews reports to identify problems and suggests solutions as instructed.
• Participates in training sessions and attends meetings to gain exposure to transit functions.
• Participates in and/or leads departmental meetings and working sessions.
