Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) offers a summer internship focused on workforce planning and analytics for college and graduate students. The program provides hands-on experience across departments like Bus/Rail Operations, Safety, IT, and Business functions, spanning up to thirteen weeks with rotational assignments supervised by executives.

Formación

• Graduation from high school or the possession of a high school equivalency certificate; attending an accredited college or university.

Responsabilidades

• Duties vary by department and include data compilation, review and analysis; input, verify, and correct data.
• Assist in preparing management, operations, technical and administrative reports; use fiscal and operations data.
• Produce reports, presentations and data visuals for assigned department.
• Identify problems from reports and propose solutions under supervisor guidance.
• Attend trainings and meetings to gain exposure to transit functions.
• Participate in and/or lead departmental meetings and working sessions.
