Job summary

IndyGo, the largest public transportation provider in Indiana, seeks a Transportation Supervisor for fixed-route operations. You will supervise coaches, monitor service, and coordinate with city and transit partners to ensure safe, reliable transit.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years in customer service, 2 years supervisory experience, and Indiana CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements or ability to obtain within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years as a transit operator or equivalent fixed-route/paratransit experience.
• 3–5 years of customer service; 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Indiana CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements required or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of fixed-route and flexible transportation systems.
• Ensure safe, reliable service with on-site street operations and radio equipment.
• Resolve day-to-day operational issues; communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Investigate accidents and incidents; support trainings with EOC.
• Coordinate detours for special events; assist with post-accident procedures.
• Oversee staff scheduling, training and performance; maintain records.
