Job summary

IndyGo is seeking a Fleet Services Supervisor for a 3rd shift (8:00 PM – 6:00 AM) to oversee servicing and distribution of vehicles and equipment. You will provide technical guidance, diagnose problems, and ensure safe, efficient operation of service lines.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hands-on supervision in a unionized, on-site shop. Indiana driver’s license is required; trade/auto background preferred.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of professional warehouse and/or logistics experience preferred; union environment experience preferred.
• Formal trade school or an associate’s degree in automotive, diesel or engineering program or a related field preferred.
• Valid Indiana Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and leadership for fueling, charging, and cleaning services; manages workflow to maintain safe operations.
• Supervises bus bill out/distribution processes and Motor Pool.
• Ensures fueling and cleaning of rolling stock and equipment are completed timely and thoroughly.
• Enforces departmental policies and the CBA including work schedules and personnel assignments.
• Compiles and documents service actions and bus assignments in paper or computer systems.
• Creates and closes work orders; communicates issues via email and software systems.
• Prioritizes work and responds to urgent situations with appropriate urgency.
